Who We Are
Oaks Christian High School is a gospel-centered learning community rooted in the Walla Walla Valley. We exist to form students who know Christ deeply, love others sacrificially, and live faithfully in a complex and changing world.
We believe high school is more than academic preparation - it is spiritual and personal formation. Students are not simply preparing for a future career; they are being shaped into the kind of people they will become for the rest of their lives. Our mission is to nurture that formation intentionally, day by day.
At Oaks Christian, this happens through three core commitments:
Academic Excellence
We offer a rigorous high school education built on the foundation of Biblical truth. Students are challenged to think critically, write clearly, speak confidently, and engage with complex ideas through a Christian worldview. We want our students to be both humble learners and bold thinkers - equipped to pursue truth and excellence in every subject.
Relational Discipleship
Our school culture is personal and deeply relational. Teachers know their students by name, walk with them through real life, and model what it means to follow Christ. In this kind of environment, discipleship is not just a class or chapel message - it’s a way of life. Students grow as they are encouraged, corrected, and loved in community.
Christ-Centered Formation
Every subject is taught under the lordship of Christ. From literature and science to history and the arts, we aim to cultivate awe, integrity, and purpose through a distinctly Christian lens. We want students to see how all truth belongs to God and how faith and learning are never separate.
A Distinct Vision
We are raising up students who are:
Rooted in faith - grounded in Scripture, secure in their identity in Christ
Formed by truth - intellectually sharpened and reflect Christ to the world
Sent in love - eager to serve their neighbors and reflect Christ in the world
We are passionate about shaping young men and women who love God, love others, and live with conviction, clarity, and compassion. Whether you’re a parent, student, teacher, or supporter, we invite you to join us in this mission.
